We are the only industry in the United States where an employee can be sued for negligent acts.

Why cant a real estate agent be sued for selling a house that drops in value by 50%?   Why cant an Auto  Worker be sued for negligently putting on a part that causes the car to wreck?   If we sell a product that turns out to cause financial damage we are liable and can have an action brought against us.   If we are Independent Contractors,,,, How come we dont own our book of business?
