Sad to see this post of yours,  ExPropSatchelcarrier… you seemed pretty cool, like maybe you had the ability to think for yourself.

Sorry you couldn't get along there Joe but the rest of us are just fine.  I thought you had a decent head on your shoulders but to see you come here and throw a little temper tantrum suprises me.   If anyone on "the other forum" had any doubts about you being banned, this little childish rant sure shows the right decision was made.

No, it just shows that Bobby has the ability to abuse the power he has given himself.  Had Joe said those kind of things to me instead of Bobby, do you think he would have been banned?

We love to talk in analogies so look at it this way - If you go to a party somebody's house you might be able to get away with slapping one of the other partygoers, but you walk up and smack the owner of the house you are definitely getting thrown out.   Why should forums be any different?

What if the owner is also walking around slapping people?  Who gets to throw him out?  Or do the rules not apply to him?

What's happening in this situation is that the owner is not only throwing that guy out, but he's also standing around waiting for anyone else to make a comment about what he did so he can throw those guys out too.    He banned me for life this afternoon for my previous post.  I think the party is just about over.  Hopefully not.  I think there was a lot more useful info on that site than there ever was here.

Then you have to decide if you're having enough fun at the party to endure a little smack every now and then.  I'm pretty thick-skined so the benefits of staying FAR outweigh any jabs that anyone throws at me.
I think there was a lot more useful info on that site than there ever was here.
At least we agree on this much.

Wow - one troll and his irresponsible buddy starts a discussion board up, we all rush to join, and then we somehow expect that the troll & his irresponsible buddy will act responsibly? This trainwreck was going to happen one way or the other. We were silly enough to jump on board for the 1st leg of the ride.

Frankly, it couldn’t have been any worse than what we had over here at the time.  I’m not sure this board will ever be what it was because moderation was non-existent for far too long.  It took a hit that will take a long time to recover from.  There are a lot of good people at the alternative forum and without their participation, this board isn’t the same.  Will it ever be the same?  The jury’s out, but I doubt that continuing to grouse about another forum is the way to make this one better.

The difference in the forums is that ************************** actually has useful information.

Nov 6, 2007 10:23 pm

Then why are you here?

Nov 7, 2007 12:16 am

That’s an excellent question.  I’ll go back to  registered rep dot com

It's not true that there is no good information.  Both Bondguy and The Judge have had good info.  Otherwise, you are correct and I shouldn't waste my time here.

I hope you get your inner monologue back so you can work these issues out in your head next time.

Just can't stay away can you?

pink taco with yet another witty retort.  This thread is officially our trash heap.

Your retort wasn't witty at all.  But anytime one of you comes over and lets on about how wonderful your website is, it comes off as a little insecure and desperate.    I was there.  It's not that cool.

You are quite right.  I stand corrected; I had erroneously thought exproptrader was his alias.  I had good things to say about him before …and it’s quite all right that he’d like to shoot me with his 12guage.

I hope Ferris and others will continue to contribute to this site, too; no need to be competitive with the other site & silo-minded.  (Glad that the admins here had the good sense to put a stop to all of the cyberbullying, though).    As for me, I know when I'm not welcome.   Have fun.   Best Regards~!
