Hi all,

Someone recently told me there was a limit to the number of off-site representatives a general securities principal can supervise. I’ve been all over FINRAs website, but I can’t find anything.

Anybody out there know the deal? Thanks in advance.

It may be one of those situations where you have to demonstrate that the number you superivised are being effectively and adequately supervised.  Only requirement I found was that there needs to be at least two principals (to supervise eachother) - excluding certain exceptions.

Thanks. I saw that rule too. I think my source is off.

Your firm can impose a limit.
