I had purchased two investment properties in Florida a few years ago and based on a number of factors, change of job, a difficult market, etc. I am not able to hold on to either of them. One has been in foreclosure for about a year and I am waiting for the bank to sell the property and the other I had just recently stopped paying the mortgage because I can't afford to any longer. I have recently been laid off from a RIA firm, which this was not a problem but am pursuing a few different broker dealers. My question to you is would this affect me getting hired? I absolutely plan on disclosing the information but am trying to cross my T's and dot my i's. Thank you.
