I know there was a previous thread about this that kind of got side tracked.  I am having a tough time feeling confident about the insurance companies, but have a fair amount of VA business I have lined up.

With the recent news from PRU and Hartford, are you guys still writing contracts from these companies?  In particular, PRU?

I have been writing ING contracts and feel fairly confident about them.

Snags, if you are worried about the strength of an insurance company, I would suggest looking at the mutuals - NY Life, MassMutual, or Guardian.  Generally more conservatively run than their stock counterparts.

Mutual companies are (unfortunately) not always available on outside brokerage platforms.

Snags , look for the best company. We can debate mutual companies versus public held companies but ultimately do the research.

Just a quick question....why ING? Are they better or worse? You have made a choice , my assumption is that you have reason why you are comfortable with them. After your research you made the choice based on your information.
