Does that mean investment saleswomen aren’t welcome?

When the whole country wants to go home and get in bed and hide, that’s the time to buy stocks. Okay, we need to get through the recession. Know what, some of these investment salesmen are going to be making a killing, cold calling and such, pretty soon.

You haven’t been here long enough to know the history of that site.  Unless you’ve been lurking for a couple of years.

  And I was being nice...ish.

I helped create some of that history - what surprises me is, how few people here are bsing after a historically tough week. This could be validation that some more or less fee based, financial planning asset allocation advisors are like the Maytag repairman.

Thank God for commissions on the little bit of new money I’ve invested this month. I can’t imagine watching my income shrink to nothing on a 100% fee-based book.

And thank God for 5% munis!!
