Broker to broker shouldn’t be an issue?

Am I a broker?

The point is this.  The NASD and the SEC are busily persuing
registered reps who discuss the relative value of investments in public
forums.

What is happening on this thread is against SEC regulations plain and simple.

You mean nothing you said over that bottle of wine is true?  You're going to deny the whole evening?

Tell us about the sparkle in old Newbie’s eye on that special night.  BTW, was the wine a white or a red.  Tell us more…lots more.

Malcolm,

Thanks for the splainin.  I may not have caught the index rollover, but what I'm looking for is at least the summer and possibly longer than that for Bearx to kick some cash.  I have a belief that interest rates will rise for a while and then around Thanksgiving or Christmas we may see rates steady or begin a decline.  Without saying too much, my thought is that the dirty "R" word will be looking at us next year at this time.  Hey, I've been wrong before, so their won't be a hurricane named after me or anything.  But thanks again for speaking your peace.

OK, back to stocks.  AHM anyone?
Strut your stuff, what do you think of it? Is it a buy, hold, sell?  Why?

Hot tip for you - - the mental ward has revoked your learner's permit.  Oh, and the other patients really are following you and they hate you and they laugh at you all the time.

Now take the hook out of your mouth sucker
Come on little girl, you're a professional.  Give us an idea of what you think of AHM.  Should we buy it?  Why?

Should we short it?  Why?

This can be a learning experience.  Just make it clear that past performance does not indicate future results.

We are NOT to be discussing investments on an internet forum.  The following is a NASD snippet

http://www.nasd.com/RulesRegulation/IssueCenter/Advertising/ NASDW_006118

Electronic communications may fall under any one of the following categories of communications. They may be considered as correspondence, public appearances, advertisements, sales literature, reprints and institutional sales material. These methods of communication are covered under the NASD Conduct Rules and also explained on the Advertising Regulation Web page. In general:

Publicly available Web sites are considered advertisements. E-mail to 25 or more prospective retail customers is considered sales literature. E-mail to either a single customer (prospective or existing) or to an unlimited number of existing retail customers and/or less than 25 prospective retail customers (firm-wide) within a 30 day period is considered correspondence. Instant messaging to 25 or more prospective retail customers is considered sales literature. Instant messaging to either a single customer (prospective or existing) or to an unlimited number of existing retail customers and/or less than 25 prospective retail customers (firm-wide) within a 30 day period is considered correspondence. Password-protected Web sites are considered sales literature. Chat room discussions are considered public appearances.

Note the highlighted red text.  Who knows who is participating in this forum.  I might not really be an investment professional and might be a trolling regulator or worse yet......an actual civilian who takes your advice and loses money based on our ridiculous banter.

Never give investment advice or recomendations on an internet forum.  Bash Jones all you want and bitch about anything in the industry.....but refrain from anything that remotely resembles advice or recommendations.
