FOR WHAT?

He sold nothing...he served no one...other than firing thousands of advisors in 2001-2002 and cutting costs on the backs of employees...what did he do.

PLEASE! Tell Me.

Is that why "the Grid" is so biased...against FAs?

And what about this shocks you?  Welcome to the big wirehouse world bro!

My MER stock is up over 100% since 2003.  The grid had changes
alright…it gave me more stock.  His actions and direction, while
not always favorable or correct, had alot to do with the performance of
the stock. He is beholden tot he shareholders, not the employees…and
that is different from everyother publicaly traded company how?

Tasting his own medicine, his comp is based on the stock price,
and the stock price reacted fanstastic…so he made a bunch of
money.  You don’t liek it?  Become a shareholder.

Sorry to seem incredulous...but dispite Rightways excellent defense of his CEO, I don't buy it.

And at 20.2 Million this year and an even larger amount last year...he is "beholden" to NO ONE...including shareholders!

I will have to mark it up to just another one of those things that make NO sense.

Fair enough.

Well, I hear that Doug Hill’s looking for a job…I’d rather have a guy like Stan getting $20M per year than working for a guy like Hill.  Just my $.02.
