MS once paid bill clinton 100k to speak at a conference. you would not believe how many negative calls we had to field. i  lost one account, but other lost more. It is a love/hate thing with the clintons. the client who left me was a religious person and could not understand why we would support someone like bill. I am in Virginia so maybe the fallout was worrse here than other states. Maybe it is phil purcell that is backing billary and they got the press release wrong

Yep, and you'd think Mack would have learned. I simply can't understand why anyone in business would take the risk of offending at least 50% of their client and prospect base by doing this. Unless it's been twisted in the press, it's just dumb dumb dumb.

I agree Mike.

I certainly don't make my political leanings public to my clients. However, I will make known (if asked) that I support whatever candidate best represents the principles of freedom, free enterprise, etc.

Afterall, we're in the "Wall Street" business. Heavy government regulation and intervention will kill Wall Street, not to mention our livelihood.

Yeah, I want in on that action! Turning $100,000 into over a million, in a matter of weeks. Ohhhhhh yeeeeaaaahhhh!!!!

Wow...backing any candidate, even worse, Hillary has got to be one of the most bone-headed moves I've ever seen.  MB, for your sake, I hope the press has this one wrong, or that Mack recants ASAP.  Geez..could he pick a more divisive candidate?!!

Sounds like the "news" came from Hilary's campaign and was confirmed by someone with MS.
