How easy is it to move from one branch office to another. I'm with SB and would like to move to a location closer to my home.  I live in a small town and there is a office about 5 mins away, with much nicer facilities. My manager does not cover the new location. Any thoughts on how best to approach a possible move.

It can be a bit tedous.  Clients get new account numbers.  They get 2 statements the month you move.  I would talk with your manager a let him know your thoughts.

Any Smith Barney people out there that can give me some insight.  Will clients get two statements?  I know they can continue to use their checks and ATM cards.

Personally I think it doesn't sound like a wise idea.  Will be distracting to you and confusing to your clients.
