More Jones. Has anyone had to pay Jones back for training costs and if so, what were the circumstances?

I'm planning on leaving also. I've been asking around these boards about the same question.

The one answer you here is that they are very inconsistent in who they come after. They've come after many people, but I've never heard of anybody losing to them and having to pay money.

That doesn't mean they won't try.

Even if they don’t get any $$ out of you it can be stressful and distracting from the work of moving over your clients.  See if you can’t wait until your contract ends.  If not, get a lawyer and consult with him on how to minimize your exposure.

Here’s a thought…live up to the agreement that you signed, then do whatever you want without fear or worry.

REPWORK

How long have you been with Jones?  Where do you want to go?  Is there any reason that you can not wait until the 3 year CSD mark?

I have had a good friend leave and he went to selling insurance, he did not go after any of his clients and they left him alone.

Hope that helps
