So I'm finally stepping my game up and going after the big fish. I figured after 12 years in the business that the best clients are the ones with wealth but no time to manage it. I know this seems obvious but some of us are slow learners . After 12 years of dealing with low net worth clients who call me every time the wind blows, I want clients who appreciate my time and expertise. So after about a year of research, I decided I want to become the go to adviser for affluent physicians in my area, but I don’t have any existing clients that are physicians(who I can leverage for referrals). A colleague of mine told me about a site called ReachProviders.com. My question is, what’s the best to reach wealthy physicians looking for financial advisory services ? Any suggestions?

Any lead program available to you means its available to thousands of other advisors.

Even with list, you'll never get past the gate-keepers.   (My asst is a bulldog... NO wholesalers get past her.)

The way to these folk (or any group) is thru referrals.  You need to find a way in.  Perhaps start with your own doc.  Ask him or her how to approach doctors.

Good luck.

Master P

1. Get their names.  Figure out where they live.  Knock on their doors.

2. Hold a semianr for doctors - you better be an expect though, they have some complex - unique needs

3. Go to charity events, etc. etc.

It's a tough demographic to crack since everyone is trying to do it.  I personally have about 6 doctors I work with - 50% of which are pains in the arse.
