Lock, in post 52. Guess I cannot read between the lines. Please, tell me what kind of value it is that Jones would not allow you to provide, that you had to leave so you could provide elsewhere? I've always been under the impression that EdJones was an unusually good place over the last several decades for reps AND clients.

Not Answering for him, but I would never join a firm that won't let you trade options.

We're really big on atmosphere. Furniture, pictures, family photos, books, trains, little knicknacks, the whole thing just tells a big story about what/who we are. Our pictures include mountaineering (biz partners hobby), trains (near the tracks and part of our biz logo), old historical pictures of the town we're in, a few old pictures and paintings of Wall Street, and a variety of Founding Fathers/Declaration of Independence stuff. I think we have about 60 large framed items in our 1100 square feet. [/quote]

tacky......

A personalized office, that gets compliments from every person that walks in the door is tacky, but you posting your series 7 score as a tagline isn't? Ok...

BFP - It's someone mocking iceco1d, not actually ice himself.  Just a typical troll, which seems to be all we get around here.

Oh, I get it, yes, I see that the number of posts... Is it the crazy person from the other site?

I also noticed the thread about Ray/CW got strange too, very off color language...

No, it's the crazy person from this site I believe who got banned from the other site.

Yeah, the Ray/CW thread got strange.  I participated in that a bit.  My apologies.  But when someone says that the stupid post of Superman's should be voted "post of the year", I thought I would point out the ridiculous by being ridiculous.  Somtimes people don't catch on.

Jesus what's with all the hostility?!

Why does anyone care how people run their business? People will run their business as they see fit for them and their clients.  Isn't that a good enough reason?!
