I got the “you passed” letter 1 week ago and faxed my education verification the following day.  Apparently I should get some feedback to move to the next step which is verifying the work requirement.

Any idea how long it takes for them to say "education requirement met...move to the next step?"

I got an email about 3 days after I sent the fax.  Be aware though, for a few days their fax machine was busy every time I tried.  Be sure your fax went through.  If you login you should be able to check your status on the education requirement.

Yeah, I faxed mine over last week and called.  The representative I talked to said its taking them about a week to get the site updated from the time they receive your education information.

It  takes about a week…then be prepared to shell out some SERIOUS dough for those sweet 3 letters!  Its worth it, but boy the Board loves to have you open your wallet wide.

Man you got me worried here for a second.  I just spent 1,200 bucks (600 for review materials and 600 for the test) to pass the exam.  You said serious like it was going to be some huge amount.  100 app fee and 360 prorated over two years.  Is there more I'm missing or is it not that big of deal after all.

Thats it as far as the initial cost.  Then its just keeping up with your CE and any costs associated with that.
