Hi all,

Is anyone taking advantage of September being Life Insurance Awareness Month to create contact with leads, prospects and current clients?   Thought I'd see some ideas of what other advisors are doing.
You do your clients a helluva lot of good when you sell them life insurance.  It's arguable that you add any value when you ACAT assets.  If you weren't such a piker, you'd know this already.
If you were lying on a table for open-heart surgery, would you: a)  Be feeling great about that 20% return you got last year? or b)  Be concerned about the amount of life insurance that may be paid to your family to ensure their security?   Without the proper insurance protection, all the asset management and growth of their assets can be instantly gone with death, disability or a lawsuit.

Rainmaker, I think that I’m going to make a push.  My plan is for a month to go back to simply being a life insurance salesman and see what happens.  I’m going to talk to as many people as possible about life insurance.   I did something similar on another product in the past and it went phenomenally well.  (I won’t talk specifics due to anonymity issues.)
