Merrill Lynch - PMD or TFA?

Currently taking a hard look at Merrill Lynch...Question- which program is better...TFA or PMD???

I don't have a "book"...or a wealthy network, or family money.  Pretty much will be building a book from scratch!

So really 2 questions...1) TFA or PMD???

Or

2) Should I scrap the ML "dream" and look at being a Bank FA instead?

Would love to hear perspectives from current & former TFAs and PMDs.  Thank you in advance!
