Janney, Wells Fargo, Met life, Stifle or stay indep

14 years in production with avg $300k when at UBS. Since 2010 was at LPL and down to 100k. Considering going to Janney, Wells Fargo as a stronger name might enable me to bring production back up.  Worked in NYC for all of my career and now flounding in Morristown NJ.  The internal fees and office rent at LPL just drove me into debt and now wondering best next move.. NYC clientele seem to gravitate to bigger name. Advice?
