What other careers in wealth management are there?

I am a college student interested in eventually becoming a financial advisor but I want to gain experience and knowledge before I go officially start. What are some jobs that would be related to wealth management but doesn't involve direct sales as heavily (pay is salary rather than commission/fee)?
