Training Consultants Series 7 Manual

Anyone know why the Training Consultants Series 7 Manual retails for $295. From what I have read, it appears to be an ordinary textbook with a few exams at the end. Kaplan charges 124.50 plus $25 for exams, STC charges 240 with about 14 exams included.
Update: There are apparently no exams at the end of the TC book
