Support to Producer

I work as a client service associate at J.P. Morgan Private Wealth Management. I am fully liscenced.  How hard do you think it is to move from the support role to being a financial advisor, even if you switch to the retail line of business Chase Investment Services?  I am truly passionate about leaving support and will even move to the less prestigious line of business...similarly I would not mind working for JPMorgan Securities.  Or should I strategize at going to a wirehouse if I want to be a producer?  Thanks for your help.
