Scottrade-work environ, salary, etc

First, please, please withhold any cynical or negative comments.

Just looking for fact.

Does anyone know what typical Scottrade "brokers" make?

And, how is it to work there, etc?

I know, I know, it's for people who can't make it, can't bring in clients, whatever, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Don’t you have to deliver papers first?

Base salary is quite modest, around 25k.  However, the bonus pool is impressive.  Top producers have the ability to make a year-end bonus as high as eleventy kabillion dollars!

How can we tell the truth and NOT say anything negative? Do you want someone to validate a decision that you've already made, so you don't have to admit that you are with a loser firm? You came to the wrong place for that, son.

Don't get discouraged, some clients need the discount services that  scottrade has to offer. In terms of money, work hard and you will be rewarded, just like everything else in life.
