Passed the 7, now onto the 66...which material?

I have heard great things about Training Consultants. Is it the way to go? I used STC for the 7, and have heard about Training Consultants being very direct, and to the point with their materials. How accurate of an assesment is that? I'd like to buckle down and not be overwhelmed and take this test once.

I tried STC and couldn't even read past a few pages it was driving me nuts.  Then, I bought Kaplan becuase someone said it was awesome.  Then I got onto these forums and saw what people were saying about TC so I decided to spend MORE Money on it, and I should have bought TC from the start.  Swear to god, TC is amazing.  They only have 125 page book, the online lectures are great, but the 6 tests they have at the end are the BEST.  20-25 questions were identical or near identical that I knew the answer right away.  Most people do worse on the 66 than the 7.  Well I got 12 points higher on the 66 than the 7 and I KNOW its because of TC.  I am 100% certain I would have failed using STC. Kaplan is better than STC but worse than TC because again, they go into wayyyyyy too much detail that TC doesn't waste time on because its not on the exam.  The exam is a lot easier than STC and Kaplan make it out to be, thus the actual tests is HARDER if you use their material because they go into WAY TOO MUCH detail and you are spending time studying stuff that isn't important.

They all work to be honest.  The best one is the one you used to pass the test.  Seriously, it's not like most of us take it it more than once so our experince rating other training programs is super limited. STC worked just fine for me, it was great, awesome, super... I passed.

Put in the time, read the material and you'll do fine.  Good luck!!!

I KNOW MANY PEOPLE THAT HAVE FAILED WITH STC, YES, I KNOW SOME THAT HAVE PASSED AS WELL.  HOWEVER, I HAVEN'T HEARD OF 1 PERSON THAT FAILED USING TC.  NO ONE IS SAYING YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY FAIL USING STC OR ANYTHING ELSE, WE ARE JUST SAYING THAT IF YOU WANT TO GUARANTEE A PASS, GET TRAINING CONSULTANTS.  IF IT WERE ME, AND MY CAREER GETTING STARTED SOONER, I WOULD TAKE THE GAURANTEE, AS THIS IS A RISKY BUSINESS, YOU CAN STUDY WHATEVER YOU WANT, BUT FOR THE SAME OUTCOME (PASSING THE TEST), WHY BE MORE RISKY?

My company changed their policy and is not letting me search out my own material unless I pay for it. Their default program is Pass Perfect.

I am curious about TC due all the things I have read.  I agree with Element in that all of the sources work.  If you put in the time and apply a good test taking strategy, you should do just fine.
