I'm broke. Cheapest way to study for Series 65?

Background: I'm studying for my CFP currently. A few people in the industry have suggested that I study and pass the Series 65 to put my resume in a better light since I'm a career changer.
I'm also on a very tight budget. I've seen people recommending Kaplan but it costs $150+ -- what would you guys recommend? I considered the Pass the 65 book but the author / publisher has a ton of fake positive 5-star reviews on Amazon (I went through each reviewer's profile, and they all only have 1 review -- and that's the Pass the 65 glowing review). That turned me off because I don't know how good the book is for sure. Would using the free Investopedia study guide be advisable? I'm not sure how updated it is. Thanks in advance guys!Mar 12, 2015 9:25 pm
Take out a loan or make sacrifices to raise the funds needed to get good prep materials.
