E-Mail Cold Call
Is there a “DNC” list for e-mail addresses?? I have several lists from alumni associations and other groups that include phone numbers, address and e-mail address. Wondering if I can send e-mails to the people who actually have their phone numbers on the DNC list? Are there any restrictions or is it open game if you have their e-mail??
Think about how much spam you get. Do you think there is a DNE list?
You cannot solicit via e-mail. Check with your compliance department.
Okie, if you can’t call them, it’s a waste of time. With my B/D, I can solicit via e-mail, but I need permission from the prospect to do so.
If you send something and they respond showing some degree of interest, I think that gives you the greenlight to follow up with a call even if they are on the DNC. I could be wrong though, so check with your compliance dept.
I was told by an interested party that there’s never been a suit about violating the DNC. Now the person who told me this is in the business of selling lists of names, so I didn;t believe him any further than I could drop kick a VAnnuity salesman.
