Which Program for CFP?

I was wondering which of the programs out there is the best to prepare
you to take and pass the CFP examination? 1) College of financial
planning 2) American College  3) Kaplan 4) others? For those will
first hand experiences with any of the above program, please offer the
community your valued insight. Any responses or suggestions would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I took and passed the CFP exam using the College for Financial Planning.  I didn’t think the course work was the key.  The key was the 1-week test workshop in Denver.  They advertise an 80% pass rate out of the class.

Banker, I used the college for financial planning for the program and the Kier test bank CD for test prep. The Kier material was probably superior for getting ready for the test, but for learning the materials, I found the college for financial planning to be very good.

Indyone, did you attend a live review class or did you just study from the Kier test bank CD? Thanks

Did not do live review…spent probably 70% of the time on the test bank after I’d spent the initial 30% reading through the corresponding sections in the study guides.  Apparently the live review section has been very helpful to many, but I felt like it was overkill for me and if I remember right, it was fairly expensive.
