Plunge Protection Team?

Does the Plunge Protection Team really exist in the sense that the Working Group is being used to prop up the markets during downturns. Did they act yesterday? Are they acting today? <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I thought a little conspiracy theory would be fun.

Anyone see the futures? Saw 'em for the first time this morning, -5% across the boards. Plunge protection team, where are you?

W/O the PPT we would now be in the dark… The PPT will keep this facade going for a few more…
