NASD Series 7 Grading Oops

Have a friend that was fired due to failing the 7. He just received a letter saying that he actually passed. After reading the article on this website and the WSJ I haven’t heard another word about it. Any information out there?

If he still wants to be in the business, he should either go back to his former Broker/dealer or he could probably even go to another one and get hired.
