LPL Financial said Tuesday that a veteran of Wells Fargo Advisors would be joining Gladstone Wealth Group, an independent, fee-based member of LPL’s Private Portfolio Partners hybrid RIA. Michael Palace, with some $130 million in client assets, according to LPL, will also use LPL’s broker-dealer platform for his commission-based business.
Palace has a total of 25 years experience in the industry and spent the past 10 years working for Wells Fargo in Berkeley Heights, N.J. He will open a new Gladstone office in Red Bank, N.J., and plans to provide financial planning for mass affluent and high-net-worth clients as well as pre-retirement and retirement planning. Most of his clients are in the New York and New Jersey area.
Palace said he’s making the move the provide objective recommendations that match with a clients’ goals and needs, and that Gladstone and LPL have helped him focus more energy on his clients.
