The insurance industry is not often a source of artistic inspiration, but there is at least one exception: San Francisco-based techno band “broker/dealer.” The duo, whose music echoes that of German ambient electronic groups, named their full-length debut album Initial Public Offering. They dress the part in concert. Rather than vintage t-shirts and sneakers, they sport ties, dress shirts and suits. Where'd they come up with the name and concept?
