Mindy Diamond, a long-time writer of Registered Rep.'s “Career Moves” column, is the CEO of Diamond Consultants, a boutique recruiting firm specializing in placing financial services professionals and connecting industry leaders nationwide. Diamond works with the nation's top brokerage firms, banks, independent brokerages, RIAs and custodians. Mindy is a sought-after public speaker, and her commentary and insights often appear in major national and trade media outlets including Dow Jones Newswires, The Wall Street Journal, Horsesmouth, Reuters, Street Talk, Wealth Briefing, Huffington Post, American Banker and other media. Mindy has also provided on-air commentary for Bloomberg Radio, Fox Business News and CNBC.

Since 2000, Chris Gash has been illustrating spots, covers and everything in between for books, magazines and newspapers, both here and abroad. Chris is a part-time instructor at Montclair State University in New Jersey; one of his courses was included in Steve Heller and Marshall Arisman's book Teaching Illustration. In 2008, two of Chris's illustrations were included in a show at The New York Times called “The Illustrated Letter: Four Decades of Letters to the Editor Spots.“ Chris lives and works in Edison, New Jersey, home of the world's largest working light bulb. Diana Britton is Registered Rep.'s new kid on the block, having joined as a staff writer in November. Most recently, she was enjoying the warmer weather of Southern California, where she spent more than a year working as managing editor for Heavy Duty Trucking, a publication of Newport Business Media.

Registered Rep. is not her first experience in financial journalism. Before moving to California, she was a reporter with Institutional Investor News' “Money Management Letter,” where she covered pension fund investments and institutional asset management. She's excited to be tackling asset management on the retail side as part of her new beat at Registered Rep.

Diana also interned at The Hollywood Reporter and The Daily Breeze newspaper. She holds a master's degree in journalism from New York University. A native of Los Angeles, she now lives in Queens, N.Y.

Lynn O'Shaughnessy, a veteran financial journalist, is the author of The College Solution, an Amazon bestseller. Lynn writes about college strategies for TheCollegeSolutionBlog and CBS MoneyWatch. Her college advice has appeared in such national outlets as Business Week, Money Magazine, Los Angeles Times, Associated Press and The New York Times.
