Richard Aneser has been hired by Lincoln Financial Distributors to serve as chief marketing officer, a newly created position. He joins from UBS, where he served as managing director and head of advisory and solutions marketing and Wealth Management Americas.

LPL Financial named Mimi Bock as its new executive vice president of independent advisor services and Joan Khoury as managing director and chief marketing officer. Bock was previously managing director in Morgan Stanley's global wealth management division. In her new role, she'll oversee 4,500 LPL branch offices and the firm's business consulting, relationship management, and education and consulting teams. Khoury, previously in strategic marketing at Merrill Lynch, will spearhead LPL's marketing strategy.

Advisor ratings service BrightScope added Josh Brown, financial advisor, blogger and author, to its advisory board. In the role, Brown will help the company take advantage of advisor migration to social media. Brown, an advisor with Fusion Analytics Investment Partners in New York, is a blogger at TheReformedBroker.com and author of Backstage Wall Street: An Insider's Guide to Knowing Who to Trust, Who to Run From, and How to Maximize Your Investments.
