Lazard appointed Kenneth Jacobs as chairman of the board of directors and CEO to succeed Bruce Wasserstein who passed away in October. Jacobs was formerly CEO of Lazard North America.

Curian Capital promoted Derek Zachmann to vice president of corporate development. Previously, Zachmann served as assistant vice president of corporate development.

IMCA has named John C. Granzow president for a two-year term which began on January 1, 2010. Granzow is managing director of investments at Wells Fargo Advisors.

Prologue Capital, an alternative investment firm, hired Devin Graham as chief risk officer. Graham was most recently Global Head of FX Prime Brokerage for UBS where he was responsible for risk management, IT Provision, operations and marketing.
