Annual Advisors With Heart Awards 2015

Nomination Form

Each year, WealthManagement.com honors veteran advisors who exemplify the highest standards of professionalism and are active in charitable giving and mentoring with the Advisors With Heart Awards.

We evaluate the nominations based on the level and depth of commitment of financial advisors to altruistic activities outside of their practice. We look at a their willingness to commit their time, abilities and passion to a cause—not merely their readiness to write a check. We perform a thorough background check to uncover any ethical or compliance violations, contact references whose names are submitted along with the applications and talk with the nominee. Nominees must demonstrate success in the operation of their practice, but that’s not the basis for the award. The winners’ stories should speak for themselves.

WealthManagement.com editors, board members and writers choose the winners; there are no spreadsheet calculations. Nominations require a short essay explaining the nominee’s merits. Be brief—a page will suffice. Specifics are important; please include anecdotes that illustrate the advisor’s strongest qualities and commitment to philanthropic activities. Please also describe the kind of practice the wealth advisor runs so that we have a clear understanding of their values. All applications are confidential—and you can self-nominate.

In addition, applicants must have:

  • A minimum of three years in the industry

  • A clean ethical record (please include full names)

  • No previous award winners may apply

To enter a friend, colleague, boss or yourself, fill out the entry form below by March 27, 2015. Winners will be profiled on WealthManagment.com and in the May 2015 print edition of REP.
